CMS Dr. Sanjay Kansal informed that all the corona infected patients are being kept in home isolates and covid care centers. Also, daily sampling is also being increased.
The post-mortem of the IIT’s MTech student did not happen:
In the case of suspicious circumstances, Prem Singh, a resident of Quarantine MTech Second Year, in the hostel room at IIT Roorkee, family members refused to do the post-mortem. He took the body with him without conducting a post-mortem. The student was investigated after coming in contact with Corona Positive, in which his report came back negative. The student was quarantined in the room itself. The student was found unconscious on Wednesday afternoon. He was then admitted to the IIT hospital. From here he was referred to the civil hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The police had informed the family about the case. Kotwali in-charge Rajesh Sah said that the relatives of the deceased had refused to conduct the post-mortem. For this, he took permission from the DM. After this, the dead body was handed over to the family.
13 girls infected in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya:
Corona has been confirmed in Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School in Govardhanpur, 13 girls and one meal mother. The department has isolated everyone in the hostel itself. Other girl students and staff have been kept separate. On Thursday, the department’s team took samples of the students and other staff at the school to investigate the corona. Khanpur CHC in-charge Dr. Vineet Kumar said that corona has been confirmed in 13 girls and one food mother. Preparations are being made to make the hostel a containment zone. A record 41 passengers came positive on the Narsan border:
