Uttarakhand Health Authority has increased the prescribed rates of free treatment given in various empaneled hospitals under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. The Authority has also shared the suggestions received from the hospitals with the Central Government from time to time. As a result, the National Health Authority has decided to increase the rates prescribed for treatment in empaneled hospitals. Told that in order of this decision of the National Health Authority, this decision will also be implemented in all the listed hospitals of Uttarakhand.

After this, the rates of packages of 409 diseases have been increased from 10 percent to 100 percent and in some by more than 100 percent in 1670 medical procedures from next November. Increasing treatment rates include cancer, heart disease, orthopedics, gynecology and general surgery treatments. Kotia said that the package of some diseases has been increased by five to six times. Due to increase in package rates, it will be easier for the empaneled hospitals to provide good quality medical services to the patients. The Chief Executive Officer of the authority, Arunendra Singh Chauhan, said that the revised rates of the presently prescribed package will be updated on the IT system of the National Health Authority by October 31.

In this regard, all the hospitals will also be informed by the authority. At the national level, Uttarakhand is the first in the country to operate the scheme with a view to providing coverage to eligible families, making Ayushman cards per lakh of eligible population, paying claims to hospitals in minimum period and effective control of any irregularities in the scheme. is in place. The claims filed by the hospitals are also paid within seven to ten days.
