Chief Minister announced: Chief Minister women empowerment scheme will be started in the state.

The scheme will help in making women self-reliant.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while participating in a program organized at the hotel located on Subhash Road on Sunday, announced that Mukhyamantri Nari Sashaktikaran Yojana would be launched to make women self-reliant in the state, which would also help in the economic self-reliance of women.

He said that under this scheme, it would be easy to provide loans to women for self-employment and they would be provided a subsidy of thirty percent or up to one lakh rupees under the scheme. This will benefit a large number of women. Unmarried, divorced, handicapped women will be able to get the benefits of the scheme, for this, a committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the General Manager, District Industries Center in urban areas and Block Development Officer in rural areas, which will take prompt action on the applications received and give loans under the scheme to the applicants. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao and Ujjwala Yojana for Mother Shakti has changed the lives of our mothers and sisters. Mother power has a big role in the development of the economy of the state. They have been linked with the National Livelihood Mission as well as other schemes to connect women with self-employment. Effective arrangement has been made to provide loans to self-help groups without interest up to 5 lakhs as well as marketing their products. Prasad scheme has also become the basis of their economic self-reliance. A package of Rs 119 crore has also been arranged for this.
He said that after the formation of the state, the most important demand of our youth was about employment. In view of the same, the recruitment process has been started for 24 thousand government posts in the state, all the processes will be completed soon. No application fee will be charged for the recruitment examinations that will be held till March 31, 2022. One year relaxation in the upper age limit has been given to the youth to appear in Group ‘C’ examination. He said that youths are being linked with self-employment under Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana etc. to make our youth self-employed. He said that the government is preparing a detailed action plan to provide self-employment to lakhs of people. The country is achieving new dimensions of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has infused a new spirit in our army. The Chief Minister said that the Chardham Yatra was banned in the state due to the Corona epidemic. But with our efforts, the journey has been resumed with the compliance of Kovid rules. Even though the journey is being done at a light level now, but soon the journey will return to its old form.
The Chief Minister said that whatever announcement our government will make, it will definitely be fulfilled. Right now the economic activities of the state have been affected due to Kovid-19. To promote tourism, transport, rafting business, a package of 200 crores has been given to the people associated with these businesses in the form of financial assistance. Similarly, for the health sector, the state government has given a package of 205 crores. This amount is being deposited directly into their account through DBT.
