Chief Minister launched Gyanvani channel.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday virtual launched the Gyanvani channel at the Chief Minister’s residence. The Chief Minister said that the launch of new online education channels Gyanvani-1 and Gyanvani-2 by the Uttarakhand State Education Department and Jio is a good effort to keep the students constantly connected with online learning and learning in the state.



The Chief Minister said that it should be ensured that all the children of the state get the benefit of Gyanvani, an education channel started for the purpose of online education to the children. Gyanvani channel will be meaningful only when its benefits reach the people standing at the last rung of the society. He said that schools play an important role in the physical and mental development of children. Many commendable efforts were made for online education during the Corona period. All academic activities are going on in schools following the Kovid protocol.

Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that the trend of online learning started during Kovid. Today many educational activities are being done through online medium. He suggested that the content of PM e Vidya should also be included through Gyanvani channel. Which is completely based on NCERT syllabus.

Education Secretary Mati Radhika Jha said that along with offline teaching, efforts are being made to connect the children with academic activities through online medium. Gyanvani – 1 is being run for primary classes and Gyanvani – 2 for secondary classes.

Chief Executive Officer Jio Vishal Agarwal said that all the NGOs associated with Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan can also broadcast the content in Gyanvani through the education department. He told that soon Jio’s 4G connectivity will be started in Dharchula.

On this occasion Director General of Education Banshidhar Tiwari, Chief Education Officer Dehradun Dr. Mukul Sati, Jio State Coordinator Deepak Singh and all Chief Education Officers and Principals were present through virtual medium.
