Chief Minister Mr. Tirath Singh Rawat inspected the Kovid Care Center in Barkot on Saturday. On this occasion, he took stock of various arrangements of the Covid Care Center from the officials. The Chief Minister inquired about medicines, food and other arrangements at the Kovid Care Center.
It was informed that regular care is being done by the physicians in the Kovid Care Center. Food, sanitation and other arrangements are also good. After this, the Chief Minister also inspected the Community Health Center, Naogaon. He spoke to the people living in home isolation from the Kovid cell and got to know about their well being.
The Chief Minister said that every possible effort is being made by the state government to overcome the shortage of doctors in the state. Doctors have been posted in remote areas. In order to ensure that there is no shortage of doctors during Kovid, the District Magistrates have also been empowered to deploy doctors during Kovid as per standard and as per requirement. The Chief Minister said that good efforts have been made to control Kovid in Uttarkashi district. Commendable work is being done by the District Administration and Health Department officials. He said that complete arrangements are being made by the government in view of the third wave of Corona. Apart from providing separate wards for children in hospitals and covid care centers, arrangements are also being made for their parents. Oxygen plants are also being arranged up to CHC level.
On this occasion, Minister of State Independent Charge Mr. Yatishwaranand, BJP District President of Uttarkashi Mr. Ramesh Chauhan, Additional District Magistrate Mr. Tirtha Pal Singh and officials of Health Department were present.
