Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami again in action, instructions to increase patrolling

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami got into action mode as soon as the busy schedule of Champawat by-election ended. On Wednesday, he took stock of the progress of the preparation of the new budget, the work of various departments. Reviewing the law and order situation in the state, he directed to increase patrolling and strengthen the informer system.

Chief Minister Dhami held a meeting with the top officials at the Secretariat on Wednesday as soon as the busyness of Champawat by-election ended. He said that there should be continuous monitoring of the Chardham Yatra system. Devotees should not be inconvenienced. Improvements should be made in the registration system as per the need.
The Chief Minister said that serious efforts should be made to increase the financial resources of the state. In which sectors financial resources can be mobilized, it remains to be seen. Hydroelectric resources are important in the field of energy. The focus should be on solar energy. Line loss in electricity should be reduced. He asked to prepare new policies for the development of hydroelectric and solar power projects.

Dhami said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special attachment to Uttarakhand. Under his guidance, many important development schemes were approved for the state. Work was done on these very fast. In relation to the central schemes, coordinate with the central officers and implement them soon. The formalities for the expansion of Dehradun, Pantnagar and Pithoragarh airports should be completed expeditiously. Along with the improvement of roads in hilly areas, new parking lots should be developed.
The Chief Minister said that the connectivity of mythological places like Mayawati Ashram, Bhubaneshwar, Hingla Devi should be improved on priority. Action plan should be prepared to improve Alaknanda Hotel Management. Time limit should be fixed for the disposal of letters in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. He also reviewed Jamrani Dam, National Highways. State Electricity Ombudsman Subhash Kumar, Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Anand Badrdhan, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar and many other officers were present in the meeting.
