He obtained information about the district wise arrangements from all the district magistrates. The Chief Minister directed to ensure the arrangement of oxygen, oxygen beds, ICU beds and separate oxygen and ICU beds for children in the hospitals of the districts. All the District Magistrates should ensure arrangements related to this by July 31. He said that wherever doctors or requisite funds are needed for this, arrangements will be made.
The Chief Minister directed that both testing and vaccination are very important in the prevention of Kovid. The Chief Minister has also given instructions to ensure all necessary arrangements in view of the possible third wave of Corona. There has been a decrease in the cases of Kovid infection in the last few times, but there is still a need to take full care and vigilance. He asked to make adequate oxygen, oxygen beds, ICU, ventilators and separate wards for children in all district hospitals, CSCs, PSCs. The Chief Minister said that he would also talk to the Defense Minister and the Home Minister for arranging additional beds for treatment related to Kovid in MH hospitals in the state and availability of vaccine in sufficient quantity.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all the District Magistrates should also assess the arrangements to be made in all the hospitals of the district so that there is no pressure on a single hospital when required. He also asked to pay attention to the spread of public awareness in this regard. The Chief Minister said that in view of Kovid-19, a package of 200 crores has been arranged for the people and businessmen who are affected by tourism. Which will be deposited directly into their accounts.
Chief Secretary Dr SS Sandhu asked the district magistrates to be prepared to face the challenge of third wave of Kovid-19. He said that with this we would also be successful in increasing the health infrastructure in the state. He said that attention should also be paid to how these systems can be better utilized after Kovid. He also expected all the departments to coordinate and solve the problems better.

A presentation of the arrangements made at the state level regarding the rescue of Kovid-19 was given by Secretary Health Shri Amit Negi. On this occasion, all the district magistrates were informed about the arrangements made at their level.

Additional Chief Secretary Shri Anand Bardhan, Secretary Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dr. Ranjit Sinha and officers of Health Department were present in the meeting.
