Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday inaugurated the Sanitary Pad distribution machine to be installed by Union Bank and Manav Seva Samaj under CSR at the Chief Minister’s residence for distribution of free sanitary pads in schools and other inaccessible areas of the state.

Ashish Giri of Manav Seva Samaj informed the Chief Minister that under “Pad Mission”, 1000 school girls would be given free sanitary pads for one year and sanitary pad distribution machines would be installed in 20 schools. This program will be run by Union Bank and Manav Seva Samaj under CSR. He told that we will provide sanitary pads to 1000 girl students studying in distance schools for the next one year, which will be absolutely free. The goal of our organization is to connect more and more schools under this mission in the next 5 years.
Appreciating this program being run by the organization, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government is running many schemes in the field of health, but at present everyone has to come forward and make the society aware, only then we will be able to succeed.
RJ Kavya, Union Bank’s Girish Chandra Joshi and Vipin Yadav were present on the occasion.
