Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat took review meeting of district level officials at Hydro Engineering College Bhagirathipuram during his visit to Tehri. In the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the preparations and development plans of Covid in the district. The Chief Minister has instructed the district administration to strictly follow the Covid guide line. The Chief Minister directed the police to send police personnel along with the health department team going from village to village.
Directed the CMO that the doctors who have been attached should be immediately posted to their native places.
The Chief Minister has instructed the District Magistrate to make appointments from the local level for a period of 11 months to meet the shortage of human resources in the Covid care centers operated in the district.
The Chief Minister said that due to strict action on Covid, the situation is now normalizing. This is the time when more precautions need to be taken. He said that the negative report of the RTPCR test of every person coming from the plains should be observed on the check post.
Apart from this, he kept the village monitoring committees active, conducting continuous sanitization from village to village including municipal village panchayats, distribution of Covid related medicine kits to the symptomatic persons, distribution of ivor mectin under mass prophylaxis, status of Covid Care Centers and Oxygen. The Chief Minister instructed the District Officer that the sliding zone of all motorways should be identified before arrival of the monsoon. He made it clear that in the event of blocking of the motorways, machinery along with human resources should reach the spot in 30 minutes. Along with this, he has asked to keep the contact numbers of all JCBs and their operators available in the control room. While reviewing the works being done under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Chief Minister has instructed the concerned officials to supply water in the taps by the month of June.
Apart from this, he has given instructions to the officials concerned to make concrete arrangements for the maintenance of health facility, food supply, power supply, drinking water supply during the monsoon.
The meeting was attended by Agriculture Minister Shri Subodh Uniyal, Minister in-charge Swami Yatishwaranand, MLA Tehri Dr Dhan Singh Negi, MLA Ghansali Shri Shakti Lal Shah, MLA Dev Prayag Shri Vinod Kandari, District Magistrate Eva Ashish Srivastava, District Panchayat President Smt Sona Sajwan, SSP Trupti Bhatt, CMO Suman Arya, and other officials were also present.
