Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat on Tuesday inaugurated 31 schemes and works worth Rs 153 crore 73 lakh at Mahakumbh at the media center located on Chandi Island. Concrete arrangements have been made in the camps and ashrams of monk saints on water, electricity, toilets and ghats.
Parliamentary Affairs and Urban Development Minister Banshidhar Bhagat said that the release of plans and works will greatly accelerate the development of Haridwar. Assembly Speaker Premchand Aggarwal said that after defeating Corona, the Chief Minister has come directly to attend the Kumbh event, it shows his faith and seriousness himself.
