During his visit to Kedarnath Dham, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the Dhami Government of the state is taking steps in this direction. The government has resolved to bring Uttarakhand into the category of best states by the year 2025. In this sequence, a glimpse of the development journey of the state will be seen at the Red Fort in Delhi from 23rd to 31st January on the occasion of Bharat Parv.
Tableau will be prepared on the theme of Uttarakhand
The tableau of the state for Bharat Parv is being prepared on the theme of developed Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand’s tableau will be displayed at the Republic Day parade in Delhi next year. The Central Government has fixed the list for the display of tableaux of states at the Republic Day Parade in Delhi from the year 2024 to 2026. Every year 16-16 states will display their tableaux. In this sequence, Uttarakhand’s number will come next year. However, this year the Central Government has given instructions to the states of Assam, Goa and Karnataka, apart from Uttarakhand, to display their tableaux on the occasion of Bharat Parv from 23rd to 31st January.
Villagers are getting employment
In this series, a tableau of Uttarakhand is being prepared these days. In the front part of the tableau of Uttarakhand displayed on Bharat Parv, a woman from Uttarakhand in traditional attire is shown welcoming. Besides, the cultivation of Srianna Manduwa, Jhangora, Ramdana and Kauni and the state bird Monal have also been displayed. There are home stays in the central part, which are providing employment to a large number of villagers in the hilly area.
Sarmoli declared tourist village
Last year, the Central Government declared Sarmoli village as the best tourist village in the state. Also, through Lakhpati Didi Yojana, women associated with self-help groups are becoming self-reliant. Solar energy and mobile towers have been demonstrated to local women working in self-help groups and in remote mountainous areas.
