Admission Committee is doing Spot Counseling:
Admission Committee has been constituted at the nodal Principal level in every district to give opportunity to the missing youth. Which will submit the application form through Spot Counseling. Priority in the allocation of seats in spot counseling will be given to the same youth who have applied for it earlier. After this, new applicants will get admission in the remaining seats.
Merit will be released on November 21:
The institute wise, business wise merit list will be released on November 21, after the completion of spot counseling. The youth named in the list will be given time till 21 and 22 November to take admission.
11479 youth have applied:
This time, due to Corona infection, online admission process was started for admission in ITI on the lines of other educational institutions. During this period, 11479 youth applied for admission in 32 trades conducted under NCVT (National Counseling for Vocational Training). However, this figure is about five and a half thousand less than last year.
Fewer applications even on reserved seats:
According to the information received from the Directorate of Training, Haldwani, 4204 seats of general category, 1499 of SC, 1104 of OBC, 780 of EWS and 325 seats of ST are to be given admission. But in the EWS, only 79 and 400 women applications have been received.
Three steps counseling process completed:
Deputy Director, Training Directorate JM Negi said that the three-stage counseling process has been completed. Final counseling is being conducted through Spot Counseling. So far, about four thousand youths have been admitted through counseling in various institutions.
