Joshimath disaster affected can get relief soon. In this regard, a meeting has been called by the Central Government in New Delhi on May 3. It is possible that in this meeting a decision will be taken on the relief package for the reconstruction of Joshimath. The state government has demanded about three thousand crore rupees from the center as a relief package.

Secretary Disaster Management Dr. Ranjit Sinha has confirmed this. He told that the agenda of the meeting has not been sent yet. Relief package will be discussed, this much is certain, it will be stamped, nothing can be said about it now.
It may be mentioned that recently the Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) team from the Center stayed in Joshimath for four days and closely inspected its affected part. The team returned to Delhi on 26 April. In such a situation, it is believed that in this meeting, along with the discussion on the PDNA report, a big decision can also be taken on the relief package.
