There is a relief news for the youth preparing to become a Uttarakhand teacher.

The Nainital High Court has ruled in his favor. The High Court has issued an order extending the last date of application for Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination in the state to 25 March, 2021. Now soon the state government can also issue revised notification and advertisement in this regard.

Through the notification, the state government can inform the new dates of Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination as per the instructions of the High Court. It is worth mentioning that before the High Court order, the last date for Assistant Teacher Examination was December 4, 2020. A petition was filed in the High Court at Ravindra Jugran, a resident of Dehradun, regarding the last date. Hearing the petition, the High Court has directed to extend the last date of Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination till 25 March.

A division bench of the Chief Justice of the Nainital High Court, Justice RS Chauhan and Justice Alok Kumar Verma, has ordered the state government to extend the deadline for the examination application to March 25, 2021. Let us know that under the recruitment of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission 2020, the recruitment process for the vacant 1431 posts for assistant teachers was started. December 4, 2020 was the last date for the first online application.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
Candidates wishing to apply for this recruitment must be graduates. Also it is necessary to have LT Diploma or BEd from any recognized institute. Applicant must be over 21 years of age and under 42 years.
