Ashok Tiwari said: To declare Ram temple as a national temple, public participation is necessary.

Union Minister of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Ashok Tiwari said that public participation is necessary for Ram temple to become Rashtra Mandir. He said that the government itself could have done a grand construction of the Ram temple itself. But this was not done because Ram temple is not a government but a temple of the public mind.

In the meeting of the Sangh Vichar Parivar at the ancient Avadhut Mandal Ashram, a plan was made for public participation in the construction of Shri Ram Temple. Discussions were made on how to reach as many families as possible in this Maha Abhiyan starting from Makar Sankranti on 14 January.

A target has been set to reach 35 thousand families in Haridwar city. The first session was presided over by District Director Rohitash Kunwar and Operations Town Wary Gurmeet Singh. In the third and final session, RSS field campaign chief Padam Singh said that it is necessary to have a sense of what is the final point of success.
Up to 35000 families of the city workers should go for construction of Ram temple construction. The third session was presided over by city director Dr. Yatindra Nagayan. VHP Provincial Cooperation Minister Ajay Kumar, District Evangelist Amit Kumar, Co-Acting Dr. Anurag, VHP District President Nitin Gautam, Avinash Ahori, Anil Gupta, Deepak Bharti, Ramesh Upadhyay, Deshraj Sharma, Virender Tiwari etc. were present in the meeting.
