On Monday, the royal bath of the holy Somvati Amavasya began at Haridwar Kumbh.

By eight o’clock in the morning, one million devotees took a dip in the Ganges at the Ganges. In Harki Padi area, devotees were able to bathe till seven in the morning, after which there will be a reserve for saints. Former kings of Nepal have also reached for a royal bath.

Nepal King arrived in Haridwar Kumbh, Chief Minister said- Welcome:
Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat welcomed the arrival of former King of Nepal Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah at Haridwar Kumbh. The Chief Minister said in a message sent to the former King of Nepal that “Welcome to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and Haridwar Kumbh”.

Tight security at every corner in Harki Paidi area:
Niranjani, Juna and Panch Agni Arena have also gone out for a bath with full force. The saints of Niranjani Arena will arrive first for the royal bath. There is tight security at every corner in Harki Paidi area. Sniper will monitor and teams of bomb disposal squad and dog squad are on alert. On Monday morning, the first saint of Sri Niranjani Akhada will leave for the royal bath from the cantonment.

Will take bath till 10.45 am. This sequence will continue till five in the evening. The fair administration has in turn released the route and time chart of bathing of the akhadas.

The devotees will leave Harki Paidi and bathe in the remaining ghats. Kovid is enshrined on the royal bath of Somavati Amavasya to be held on Monday after the coronation of several saints including Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad president Srimanta Narendra Giri.
Kinnar Arena will also be bathed at number four along with Juna
The fair police-administration has completed the preparations for bathing and sealed the Harki Padi area for devotees. The saints of the akhadas at Brahmkund on Harki Paidi will take a royal bath in succession.

The saints of Agni and invocation akharas will bathe with Juna. Kinnar Arena will also bathe at number four along with Juna.

While the three sages of the Bairagis, the natives of Nirmani, Digambara and Nirmohi, will also bathe together. IG Kumbh Sanjay Gunjyal told that there will be strict security at the bath.

Full arrangements have been made for the royal baths. There is a complete system of masks, sanitization kits etc. and there is no shortage. Following the rules, every effort is being made by the state government to make Kumbh grand.
