Rudrapur/Dehradun April 11, 2022- Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday inaugurated the 23rd National Volleyball Youth (Women and Men) Championship at Manoj Sarkar Sports Stadium, Rudrapur. In this championship, a total of 28 teams including 27 states and Sai team in men’s section and 22 states and one Sai team in women’s section are included.

The Chief Minister congratulated all the teams participating in the competition and the team of Ladakh participating in the competition for the first time. Boosting the morale of the participants, he said that even in summer, the enthusiasm and enthusiasm for sports among the youth is showing that the youth of the country is ready to touch the sky. He said that this is not only a national competition of sports but it is also a platform for the youth power of the country. Our youth are illuminating the name of the country and the state by spreading the color of talent in sports competitions. He said that the children of the common household should not face any problem in playing, no helplessness or helplessness should put a hindrance in the way of talent, so that the government has made arrangements in the sports policy. It is our belief that there should be no hindrance in the talent of any talented player. Government jobs and sports environment will be provided to the medal winners in national sports competitions.

The Chief Minister said that money is showered on sportspersons for their excellent performance in sports and on getting medals. But at the time of participating in competitions and practice, talents are not able to get help and have to face many types of problems, keeping this in mind, the government has implemented Sports Policy-2021, in which the arrangements for players to play, stay And after arranging food and performing well, arrangements for jobs have also been made in the new sports policy.
The Chief Minister said that under the Mukhyamantri Udayaman Khiladi Unnayan Yojna, for budding sportspersons of younger age, the government has also proposed to give an incentive of Rs. has announced. There are gold medalists, silver and bronze medal winners in Olympic Games and arrangements have been made to provide appointment to the players of Olympics, Asian Games, World Championship, Commonwealth Games. Will do everything possible for the players.

Seeing the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the emerging sports talents even in the scorching heat, the Chief Minister said that I am sure of the future that in future the work of making our country more empowered in the field of sports will be done through you. He said that this event will definitely prove to be a milestone in the times to come. Along with this he announced the formal opening of the game. He also raised the flag for the game.
The Chief Minister gave a prize of Rs 5000 to the students of Government Primary School Chhatarpur for performing a beautiful dance on the song “Almora Angreja”. Along with this welcome song was presented by the girls of different schools.
On this occasion, Regional MLA Shiv Arora gave detailed information about the importance of stadium and sports. Mayor Rampal Singh, MLA Trilok Singh Cheema, former MLA Rajesh Shukla, Harbhajan Singh Cheema, Divisional Commissioner Deepak Rawat, DIG Nilesh Anand Bhare, District Magistrate Yugal Kishore Pant, etc. were present in the program.
