Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday inaugurated the famous 45th Siddhpeeth Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair of Uttarakhand at Ramlila Maidan, Narendranagar, Tehri Garhwal.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who arrived to attend the program, made various announcements for Narendranagar, in which community building will be expanded in Narendranagar, 70 years old dilapidated double storey building will be constructed near the bus stand in Narendranagar, construction of market line in Narendranagar will be done. There will be conservation in the form of archeological heritage, work will be done for construction of parking near Mota Nala / Police Station in Narendranagar, 04-04 additional rooms will be constructed in Government Inter College, Berani and Odada, stadium under Municipal Council, Munikireti-Dhalwala. Construction work will be done, construction work of mini stadium will be done in Nagar Panchayat Gaza, construction of rest house in Ghantakaran temple under Gaza area, Rs. 2 crore will be given for damage due to natural calamity under Narendranagar assembly constituency, under assembly constituency Narendranagar. There will be reconstruction work of four mountain canals damaged by divine calamity in Dogi Patti, renovation work will be done from Narendranagar to Daur-Gujarada motorway. Renovation work will be done on Katal Naudu motor road and renovation work will be done from Soni to Narendranagar- Ranipokhari motor road.
In the program, the Chief Minister inspected the tableaux brought out by various schools and departments and inspected the various stalls put up at the venue. On this occasion, the meritorious students of class 10th and 12th were also honored by distributing certificates by the Chief Minister. Thereafter, the Chief Minister reached the martyr memorial site and paid floral tributes to the martyrs.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that I bow to the land of Mother Kunjapuri. He said that ever since I got a chance to serve the public as a chief servant, our government is doing development work in various fields. In order to connect the youth with employment, the recruitment process has started on 24000 vacant posts in various departments. Along with this, camps are being organized in every district to connect the youth with self-employment. Loans are being distributed to all the youth under Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana. The Chief Minister said that many people had to face problems due to Corona, a relief package of 200 crores was given for the people associated with tourism. He said that the government has decided that one year relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the applicants in the government recruitment process. Also, the application fee of various recruitments will be waived till March 2022.
The Chief Minister said that loans up to Rs.05 lakh are being given to the sisters of the state working in different areas through livelihood mission, self-help groups, clusters. Along with this, the honorarium of village heads has been increased from Rs 1500 to Rs 3500. Keeping every section of the society in mind, many public welfare schemes are being run in the state.
The Chief Minister said that today India is scaling new heights of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the same time, India’s respect is increasing in the world, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to make India a strong and self-reliant India. Following his footsteps, development works are being carried forward in the state.
On this occasion, cabinet ministers Subodh Uniyal, Rajendra Vikram Singh Pawar (President Municipal Council Narendra Nagar), Rajendra Bhandari (Block Head Narendra Nagar) Roshan Raturi (Chairman Municipality Munikireti) and others were present.
