Rudrapur – The Chief Minister of the state, Shri Tirath Singh Rawat, who arrived on a one-day visit, held a review meeting with the officials at the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium Collectorate, along with the work being done for the prevention, treatment and prevention of Covid infection in the district, as well as the upcoming monsoon period. In view of this, got detailed information about the pre-preparation and development works conducted in the district.
The Chief Minister said that maximum sampling should be increased to prevent corona infection. For this, the medical team should go to all the gram sabhas and investigate. During the investigation, ensure to provide immediate medicine to every person with symptoms and work to prevent infection by keeping the surveillance team more active at the village level. He directed the concerned officers to ensure to provide better health system in rural areas.
The Chief Minister said that along with the prevention of corona infection, the work of sanitization should be continued continuously in all urban and rural areas in all urban and rural areas for the prevention of water-borne diseases, dengue during the coming rains, as well as to educate the public about it. Be aware too. During the review, the Chief Minister said that presently oxygen generation plants are being set up in district hospitals, community and primary health centers also. He said that essential medicine kits related to corona should also be distributed expeditiously in every village.
The Chief Minister asked all the MLAs and other public representatives to continuously visit the village to inquire about the availability of medicines and other health related facilities. He said that strict compliance of curfew should be ensured to prevent corona infection. He said that keeping in view the prevention of black fungus, the State Government has made adequate arrangements for injection and all preparations have been completed to deal with the third wave of Covid-19. He said that along with hospitals, make sure to make arrangements for hotels, dharamshalas as well.
The Chief Minister also inspected the Covid Control Room, while appreciating the arrangements of the Control Room, interacted with the patients living in home isolation through video call and inquired about their health and wished for their speedy recovery. He said that children who have become orphans due to Covid infection will be given Rs 3000 per month. He said that such orphans/helpless children would remain under the supervision of the District Magistrates till they attain adulthood so that no one could harm their property. He said that there is no dearth of budget in the corona infection, for which the District Magistrate has also been given the right to spend in this epidemic from his own funds.
During the review, the Chief Minister inquired about the preparations for the upcoming monsoon from the concerned officers in view of the upcoming monsoon period. He directed that all the departments should be alert while preparing beforehand to deal with any kind of disaster and immediate relief and rescue work should be done in case of any kind of disaster, necessary equipment, relief packets etc. Along with the arrangement, necessary arrangements should be made in advance by marking relief camps. He said that all the departments should work cooperatively by establishing mutual coordination. During the review of the development works, he directed the officers of various working institutions including drinking water, energy department, public works department, irrigation to complete the construction works in a time bound manner. The officers should not sit in the headquarters and go to the field and carry forward the development works, the work should be visible on the ground. The Chief Minister said that officers and public representatives complement each other and work together to take the district forward in the field of development. He works with a team spirit.
In the meeting, MP Ajay Bhatt, MLA Rajkumar Thukral, Rajesh Shukla, Harbhajan Singh Cheema, Prem Singh Rana and Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke about the development of the district. He said that those people whose ration card has not yet been made online should also be given ration. He said that the aim of the state government is that no one should go hungry in the state.
In the meeting, District Magistrate Ranjana Rajguru and Senior Superintendent of Police Dalip Singh Kunwar made presentations about the health facilities available at present and the work being done for the prevention of dengue and dengue in the district through any kind of disaster during the coming monsoon period. In addition to the prior preparations made to deal with it, detailed information was given about the development works being carried out in the district.
