Rajeev Mohan, Superintendent of Police (Traffic) appointed in Nainital was infected with Corona and died on Tuesday while undergoing treatment in Delhi. The Chief Minister has wished for peace of the departed soul from God and to provide patience to the bereaved family.
SP Traffic Rajeev Mohan’s body reached his Fatehpur Christian Nagar residence on Tuesday night. He will be cremated at Chitrashila Ghat at Ranibagh on Wednesday. ADM SS Jangpangi, SP Udhamsingh Nagar Devendra Pincha, CO Bhupendra Dhoni and SP City Jagdish Chandra are present at their residence.
Rajiv was always ahead in the service of the needy:
The entire area has been mourned after the death of Rajeev Mohan (41), SP (Traffic and Crime) of Haldwani and old Dang resident of Jethua, Gram Panchayat. He used to come to the village to meet the parents in three or four months. The villagers told that Rajiv was always ready to help the needy and the poor. Everyone is shocked by his sudden demise.
Anand Singh Bisht, Rajiv Mohan’s neighbor in the village, said that Rajeev Mohan’s father Surendra Singh and mother live in the village. They have been in Haldwani for some time. Rajiv’s father remained in SBI after retiring from the army and has also retired from there.

SP Rajeev Mohan Gram Panchayat was an ardent devotee of Lakhaneshwari Mata of Lakhneshwari Dham located at Patlgaon. Temple servant Umesh Rawat says that his association with the village also increased after joining the temple. Therefore, besides the ancestral house, he also built a new house in the village.
He used to come to the village and temple. Told that he used to live more in Meerut before building a house in the village. Apart from Haldwani, he also has a house in Meerut. He was a man of great spiritual instinct. Used to meet all people with great affinity.
