The District Magistrate inspected the reconstruction works of Badrinath Master Plan.

District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana reached Badrinath on Wednesday and carried out on-the-spot inspection of the reconstruction works being carried out under the master plan. He directed the executive body to speed up the construction works by deploying adequate number of machines and manpower. Complete the river front development works at the earliest. The beautification works of the temple premises should also be started soon. If there is a problem somewhere, then it should be brought to the notice immediately. The District Magistrate also instructed Tehsil Administration and PIU to prepare a plan soon for setting up infrastructure facilities in Badrinath. So that the movement of passengers remains smooth in the next season and no passenger has to face any inconvenience.
The beautification work of BRO bypass, Badrish lake and Sheshnetra lake in Badrinath Dham is almost complete. While the work of Arrival Plaza, One Way Loop Road, Hospital Expansion and River Front Development is going on fast.
During the inspection, Superintendent Engineer Rajesh Sharma, SDM Kumkum Joshi, PIU Executive Engineer Vipul Saini, EO Sunil Purohit and officers of executive institutions and departments were present.
Under the Prime Minister’s dream project, infrastructure development is being done in three phases under the master plan at Bardinath Dham. In which the work of the first phase is going on. In the first phase, the works of Arrival Plaza, BRO bypass, construction of loop road, beautification of Shesh Netra and Badrish lake, expansion of hospital and river front development are being done. In the second phase, the Badrinath main temple and its surrounding area will be beautified. Whereas in the next phase, the Aastha Path connecting the rest of the Netra lake with the temple will be constructed.
