Union Minister for Labor, Employment, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Shri Bhupendra Yadav met Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Chief Minister’s residence on Friday. During the meeting, various issues of the state were discussed between the Chief Minister and the Union Minister. The Chief Minister apprised the Union Minister about the pending cases at the Central level related to NOC and clearance of the Forest Department. Union Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav said that all the pending forest department matters at the central level will be resolved soon. During this, there was also a discussion between the two to prevent incidents like forest fire.
Union Minister Shri Bhupendra Yadav said that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is a major center of faith as well as an important state from the point of view of forest and environment. He said that during his visit to Uttarakhand, a meeting was held with the officers in FRI on various matters related to forest and environment. A meeting was held with the officials regarding Project Elephant and CAMPA. He said that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand would be given all possible help from the Central Government in the field of forest and environment.
