Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board has received a proposal to recruit two thousand posts from the Department of Medical Education and Health. For this, the board has issued tenders for the written examination. Recruitment process will be started soon on these posts.
The recruitment process of 763 doctors is currently underway in the Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board. After the completion of the application process, the board will interview and submit the selection list of doctors to the health department within a month.
Apart from this, the board has received proposals for one thousand posts of nurses, paramedical from the Department of Medical Education and Health. To recruit these posts soon, the board has issued tenders for the written examination.
Chairman of the Medical Services Selection Board DS Rawat said that the board has received proposals for about two thousand posts of nurses and paramedical staff from the Department of Medical Education and Health.
Selection of nurses and paramedical posts will be done through written examination. For this, the board has issued tenders. Presently, the Board is in the process of interviewing for 763 doctors posts. The selection process will be completed within a month.
155 seats of MBBS and 130 seats of BDS vacant:
After the first phase of counseling in state government and private medical colleges, 155 seats of MBBS are left vacant. At the same time, 130 seats of BDS in two dental colleges are still vacant. Counseling for the second phase will be held soon.
There are total 725 MBBS seats in five medical colleges of the state and 200 seats of MBBS in two dental colleges. The University of Medical Education conducted NEET UG counseling for the first phase from November 6 to 13, with the last date fixed for admission on November 18. MBBS has 87 seats in the state quota and 68 seats in the All India Management quota. At the same time, BDS has 67 seats of state quota and 63 seats of all India management quota.
Dr. Vijay Juyal, Controller of Examinations of Medical University, said that 14 unreserved and two SCs of State quota in Government Medical College Haldwani, nine unreserved in Srinagar Medical College, seven unreserved in Doon Medical College, four SCs, two STs in SGRR, 12 unreserved. 9 SC, one OBC, two ST, 14 unreserved, six SC, one OBC, three ST seats in Jolly Grant Medical College are vacant.
One seat each in the Medical Colleges of Haldwani, Srinagar and Doon are reserved for terrorism victims and Kashmiri migrants. Apart from this, 18 unreserved, nine SC, four OBC and two ST of BDS in Seema Dental College and 20 unreserved, nine SC, five OBC seats are vacant in Uttaranchal Dental College.
