Veerbhoomi is not in the protection of the borders of the country, no match of Uttarakhand, this tradition which has been going on for decades is still intact.

Whenever there is talk of protecting the borders of the country, the name of Uttarakhand comes first in this. It has been an old tradition of Devbhoomi to sacrifice one’s life to protect the motherland.

Continuing Tradition:
Be it a soldier or an officer in the army, the dominance of Uttarakhand continues. The number of Gentlemen Cadets passing out after getting military training from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) speaks volumes of this truth. In terms of population density, Uttarakhand is one of the most promising states in the country. This tradition has been going on since decades ago.
There is no exaggeration in the fact that the spirit of patriotism is full of patriotism among the youth of Uttarakhand. Its glimpse was seen in the passing out parade held twice a year at the Military Academy in June and December. There has been hardly any passing out parade during the last decade, in which the number of Uttarakhandis among the youth who have stepped in has not been more. It is to be noted here that the population of the state is only 0.84 percent of the total population of the country.

States with more population also do not stand anywhere in front of Uttarakhand:
If you compare this with the 288 Indian cadets who passed out from the Military Academy on Saturday, the level of state cooperation in this is around 11 per cent with 33 cadets. The states with more population than this also do not stay anywhere in front of Uttarakhand.
Even though the number of cadets of the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh is 50, but if you compare it according to the population there, Uttarakhand is the first in giving courage to the Indian Army, because the percentage of the population of UP is the total population of the country. 16 percent of the state, which is many times more than Uttarakhand. States like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Punjab, Bihar, Haryana are also behind Uttarakhand in numbers (passing out cadets).
