VS Session begins from today, budget will be presented, efforts will be seen in favor and opposition

The budget session of the Legislative Assembly is going to start from Tuesday. A budget of over Rs 63 thousand crore will be presented for the financial year 2022-23 on the first day. The session is expected to remain tumultuous due to the tussle between the ruling party and the opposition. During the session, the opposition has made a strategy to surround the government inside and outside the house on issues like inflation, unemployment, law and order, neglect of farmers.
This session will be called in Dehradun from 14 to 20 June. This is the second session of the fifth assembly. The first session in March was very brief. Then in a two-day session, the government got the vote on account passed. This is the first full budget of the Dhami government. The MLAs have put 530 questions for the session.

Traffic police issued traffic plan:
The traffic police has issued a traffic plan regarding the assembly session starting from Tuesday. Barrier arrangements have been made at Pragati Vihar, Shastri Nagar, Bypass Barrier, Defense Colony and Vidhan Sabha Tiraha to make traffic and law and order in view of the strike-demonstration during the Vidhan Sabha session till June 20. During this time all heavy vehicles will be diverted from Kargi Chowk and Doiwala to Dudhli Road.
The route will be diverted if there is a procession and rally at the Pragati Vihar barrier. Vehicles going from Dehradun to Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri and Chamoli will be diverted from Nehru Colony, Fawwara Chowk to number six culvert. Vehicles coming from Rispana bridge side will be diverted towards bypass and vehicles will enter the city from Bypass Chowki, Mata Mandir, Dharampur.

At the same time, the traffic going from Dharampur Chowk to ISBT will be sent from old bypass post to ISBT via Mata Mandir Road. Whereas vehicles going from Mohkampur to Mussoorie will be sent from Jogiwala to Ring Road from Ladpur to Sahastradhara crossing from IT Park to Mussoorie road.

On the procession and rally at Shastri Nagar barrier, vehicles coming from Mohkampur towards Dehradun city will be sent from Jogiwala to number six culvert to Nehru Colony, Araghar, Dehradun via this road.

Vehicles coming from the bypass will be diverted from Kargi to Bypass Chowki, Dudhli to Doiwala.

– Each possible procession (permitted) will only leave from Bannu School and their vehicles will also be parked at Bannu School.
In case of traffic pressure, city buses coming from Doiwala towards Dehradun will be sent back towards Doiwala by taking a U-turn from Kailash Hospital. Vikram of Dharampur route will be returned from fountain chowk itself.

Traffic will be diverted from other routes as per the orders of the higher authorities and the diverted traffic can also be normalized.
