Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat insisted that any kind of negligence in the quality of works of Kumbh Mela will not be tolerated. He instructed to complete the works of permanent nature by the end of January. He was reviewing the works and preparations for the Kumbh Mela at the Chief Minister’s residence.
He directed the officers to complete the remaining works soon. The Chief Minister said that the number of devotees will increase in the upcoming Kumbh Mela. According to the number of pilgrims coming to the fair, he asked for all their arrangements to be rectified.
The Chief Minister said that special attention should be paid to cleanliness in the fair area. Cooperation of voluntary organizations, social organizations and people should also be taken in the cleanliness drive. The standards of Kovid-19 should be fully complied with. He has also directed to conduct mass public awareness campaign in view of Kumbh.
The Chief Minister said that all departments should work with better coordination with the Mela administration for organizing a clean, beautiful and safe Kumbh. There should be proper arrangement of masks and sanitizers in the fair area. For the vigilance of Kovid also, fair and district administration conducted awareness campaigns through various mediums. Residual works of temporary nature should also be completed soon.

Secretary Urban Development Shailesh Bagoli said that the work related to the Kumbh Mela is being allocated to the budget by taking immediate decision against the approved proposals on the basis of highest priority. Meladhikari Deepak Rawat said that most of the works of permanent nature have been completed. Residual works will be completed soon.
Most of the works related to roads and bridges have been completed. Chief Secretary Omprakash, DGP Ashok Kumar, Secretary Amit Negi, Nitesh Jha, Dr. Pankaj Pandey, SA Murugation, IG Mela Sanjay Gunjyal and officials of executive organizations were present in the meeting.
Do not spend any time in organizing the divine and grand Kumbh: Kaushik
Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik said that the Kumbh Mela is a symbol of the faith of the devotees. In Kumbh Mela, various aspects related to the national, state’s religious, cultural and faith will be brought to the fore. Instructions have been given to the authorities in this regard that nothing should be taken in connection with organizing the divine and grand Kumbh.
