The wish of BJP leaders who are hoping for the responsibility equivalent to the post of minister and minister of state given as chairman, vice chairman in various commissions, corporations and authorities is going to be fulfilled soon. The state BJP has prepared a list of 35 such leaders who can be given responsibilities in this Navratri.
BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt gave indications of this in a conversation with journalists on Sunday. When asked, he said that the names of those who are to be given responsibilities will come out soon. It is not going to take much time now to distribute responsibilities.
So far, more than two dozen BJP workers have been given responsibilities in the second term of the Dhami government. Meanwhile, there has been a demand from within the party that dedicated workers who work continuously for the party organization should be given responsibilities. It is being said that assembly elections are to be held in the year 2027, so this is the right time for distribution of responsibilities. This will speed up the process of giving concrete shape to the election preparations on the ground.
It is believed that now in this Navratri, responsibilities can be distributed within the next few days. The statement of the BJP state president is pointing towards this.
The date of election of the state president will be announced soon
BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt said that in view of the election of the state president in the state, the party organization has fulfilled the necessary eligibility. This information has been given to the central leadership. He said that the election of BJP state president has not been held yet in many states including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh. Due to the busy Parliament session, it took some time, but the dates for the election of state presidents can be decided in two-three days. He expressed confidence that the nomination process will start once the date of election of the president of Uttarakhand is decided soon.
The district president of Ranikhet will be announced in the coming days
Bhatt said that the party has announced presidents in 18 of its 19 organizational district units in the state. The president of organizational district Ranikhet will be announced after the election of the state president. He also clarified that all the names which had come from Ranikhet under the earlier election process were rejected on account of the old age.
