This process of 5115 mini Anganwadis of the state, which was waiting for upgradation for a long time, has now been completed. After getting approval from the Central Government, orders have now been issued to upgrade them as full Anganwadi centres. Along with this, employment will also be available to 5115 women as assistants in these Anganwadi centres. Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya has expressed gratitude to Union Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani as well as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for this. In view of the increasing number of children in Mini Anganwadi centres, there was a demand for their upgradation. On the instructions of departmental minister Rekha Arya, a proposal in this regard was sent to the Union Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Development.
Besides, Chief Minister Dhami had also requested the Central Government to upgrade these mini Anganwadi centers soon. According to Cabinet Minister Arya, the Central Government had recently given green signal to the upgradation of these mini Anganwadi centres. Now Departmental Secretary Hari Chandra Semwal has also issued a government order in this regard.
