There are only five Lok Sabha seats in Uttarakhand, but they hold a very important position for the BJP. This proves the way BJP engaged its star campaigners in the election campaign. If we look at the scenario of the last 20 days, during this period, 13 central leaders of the party including Prime Minister Narendra Modi held 52 meetings, while Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed 45 meetings. The Chief Minister also addressed the meetings of the Prime Minister, Home Minister and other big leaders. Apart from this, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt and other star campaigners worked to create an atmosphere by participating in small and big meetings and other programs in all the 70 assembly constituencies of the state. BJP started its election meetings on March 29 with the visit of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to Tharali and Purola.

According to BJP State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, during the period from March 29 to April 17, the Chief Minister addressed 45 public meetings in the five Lok Sabha constituencies. He participated in the meetings of all the central leaders of the party. The meetings of central leaders were followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Rudrapur rally on April 2. The Prime Minister’s second rally was held in Rishikesh on 11 April. BJP National President JP Nadda has four, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has three, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has one, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has four, Union Minister Smriti Irani has one, Union Minister of State General VK Singh has four, Shantanu There were three meetings of Thakur, 16 meetings of BJP national general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam, three meetings of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, three meetings of BJP national minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, seven meetings of Bihar cabinet minister Shahnawaz Hussain and one meeting of MP Manoj Tiwari.
BJP State General Secretary Kothari said that State President Mahendra Bhatt addressed meetings in all 70 assembly constituencies. Apart from this, he also participated in the meetings of big leaders. Not only this, former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Tirath Singh Rawat, state government ministers Satpal Maharaj, Premchand Aggarwal, Subodh Uniyal, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Ganesh Joshi, Rekha Arya and Saurabh Bahuguna, National General Secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha Deepti Rawat, State President Asha Nautiyal and other star campaigners also held meetings in different areas.
