Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Ayodhya Dham visit program of Baba Bauknag’s Doli at Parade Ground on Tuesday. He prayed to Baba and wished for the prosperity of the state and sent off the Doli by shouldering it himself. Welcoming the members of Baba Bauknag Doli Committee, the Chief Minister said that he also has deep faith in Baba Bauknag. Baba’s grace is on the entire Uttarakhand. An example of this is the safe release of the workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel. Due to whose grace this impossible task became possible.
He said that for this, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also sent machinery from places like Indore, Chennai, Hyderabad etc. along with experts and also called experts from abroad, we were all getting disturbed at the time of the obstruction in the safe return of the workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel. At that time we found a way by remembering Baba and everyone came out in half an hour instead of three hours on the last day of the rescue operation. This incident was discussed all over the country and our efforts were also praised, this was Baba’s blessing.
The Chief Minister said that the success of Mission Silkyara was due to the immense grace of Baba Bauknag ji and the able guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, strong willpower as well as his support at every step, with the integrated efforts of various institutions, army personnel, rat miners and the state government at ground zero, we were able to save the lives of the workers trapped in the tunnel. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a great achievement to evacuate 41 workers safely in the Silkyara tunnel accident. This rescue operation could be completed successfully only due to the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Thanks to the expert rescue agencies sent by the Central Government, we were able to evacuate the workers safely. The whole country was praying for 41 lives for 17 days. The Chief Minister said that at that time he had announced the construction of Baba Bauknag’s temple there, that work is going on. The temple will be ready soon. On this occasion, the Chief Minister assured a quick solution to the Barkot pumping drinking water scheme and said that Baba Bauknag fair would be organized as a state fair.
The Chief Minister said that today, with the blessings of Baba, our state has come from 10th to first place in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals issued by NITI Aayog. A record number of devotees are also coming to the Chardham Yatra. With the blessings of Baba, the number of devotees in Yamunotri and Gangotri has also increased in lakhs. Along with Gangotri and Yamunotri, a master plan is also being made for Hanol, the place of Mahasu Devta. From Askot to Arakot, the state is moving ahead in terms of development in a holistic way, we have taken many difficult and tough decisions in the interest of the state. The Chief Minister said that by implementing the Uniform Civil Code Act in the state, we have fulfilled the promise made to the people of the state. He expressed confidence that the Ganga of Uniform Civil Code originating from Uttarakhand will go to the entire country. The Chief Minister said that on a sacred land like Devbhoomi, government land of various departments was being occupied for a long time. The government has freed 5 thousand hectares of such land from encroachment by running a campaign.
The Chief Minister said that to maintain the original form of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, a provision of strict law has been made to prevent any kind of religious conversion in the state. We have made anti-riot law by taking strict action against those who cause any kind of damage to government property. Under which the damage will be recovered from the person who damages the resources. The Chief Minister said that in the last three years, 15 thousand youth have been provided government jobs. The talent of the youth has been honored by implementing anti-cheating law in the state. With the transparent examination system, youth are becoming eligible for many posts simultaneously. The Chief Minister said that tourism, pilgrimage are the strong base of the state’s economy. Due to the development of roads, air traffic and other infrastructure facilities, twice the number of pilgrims have come to the state for the Chardham Yatra as compared to last year. On this occasion MLA Shri Durgeshwar Lal, Chairman of the Committee Shri Jayendra Singh Rawat, former MLA Shri Rajkumar, Shri Manveer Chauhan, Shri Vinod Dobhal, Shri Deepak Bijalwan, Shri Satendra Rana, Shri Alok Rawat, Shri Chandi Prasad, Shri Yashwant Singh, Shri Gopal Singh Rawat etc were present.
