The government and the Director General of Police have announced to award the Governor’s Excellent Service Medal, Director General of Police’s Commendation Disc ‘Gold’ and Director General of Police’s Commendation Disc ‘Silver’ to police officers and employees on the basis of service and for distinguished work on the occasion of Republic Day. Eight officers and employees will be awarded the Governor’s Excellent Service Medal (Special Work), 15 will be awarded the Director General of Police Commendation Disc ‘Gold’ (on the basis of service), 20 will be awarded the Director General of Police Commendation Disc ‘Silver’ (on the basis of service) and 10 officers and employees will be awarded the Director General of Police Commendation Disc ‘Silver’ (for distinguished work).
