Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to run a special campaign to resolve the complaints pending for more than 180 days in CM Helpline 1905. Expressing displeasure over the complaints pending for more than six months, he also directed action against the officers who did not dispose of the cases in a timely manner. While reviewing CM Helpline 1905 in the Secretariat on Thursday, the Chief Minister directed the officials to organize Tehsil Diwas in the entire state on one day. The Chief Minister will participate in a surprise in one district on this day. Similarly, Thana Diwas will also be organized in the entire state on one day. The Chief Minister directed all the District Magistrates to organize Janta Darshan, Tehsil Diwas and BDC regularly for the speedy resolution of public problems. The CM said that the police-administration should run the encroachment and verification campaign effectively. Work should be done rapidly towards making two villages in each district as Adarsh Gram. For this, nodal officers should be appointed in all the districts soon. Uttarakhand Infrastructure Monitoring Council Vice President Vishwas Dabur, Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, DGP Deepam Seth, Secretaries, Additional Secretaries, Heads of various departments and all District Magistrates were present in the meeting through virtual medium.
Safety audit of transformers will be done, action will be taken if wires are found hanging
The Chief Minister directed that wherever the condition of electric poles and transformers is bad in the state, they should be replaced immediately. Safety audit of all transformers should also be done. It should be ensured that there is no problem of low voltage and hanging electric wires, strict action will be taken against the concerned officers if such cases are found. The Chief Minister directed the officers associated with all the authorities to ensure that there is no laxity in passing the maps of people’s houses. He said that the three districts which become TB free first will be honored.
Five departments including Transport, Agriculture, Energy appreciated
The Chief Minister praised the Transport, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Excise and Energy departments for doing good work in redressal of complaints on CM Helpline. Instructed the Public Works Department, Geology and Mining, Revenue, Home and Finance Department to further expedite the redressal of complaints. More complaints are coming in the CM Helpline regarding drinking water, maintenance of streetlights, connections under Jal Jeevan Mission, power cuts and electricity bills.

Chief Minister Dhami also spoke to the complainants of CM Helpline. On the complaint of Upendra Singh Rawat of Uttarkashi regarding drinking water line, the Chief Minister directed the District Magistrate Uttarkashi to resolve the problem within a week. Alam from Haridwar had complained about street lights, his problem has been resolved. Hridesh Negi of Dehradun said that work has started on his complaint regarding the construction of a culvert. Gaurav Nautiyal’s complaint regarding drinking water of Chamoli has also been resolved. Devendra’s complaint of low voltage from Nainital has also been resolved.
