Amidst the ongoing protests over the alleged leak of some portions of the question paper from a test center during the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission’s graduate-level Group C recruitment exam, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami assured students and youth that the government will not hesitate in taking any decision in their interest. The Chief Minister said that as long as he is alive, ensuring justice for every student in Uttarakhand is his duty and the purpose of his life. He said that an SIT is investigating the matter. The government is ready to conduct any investigation, and if the students want a CBI investigation, there will be no objection to that either. Chief Minister Dhami made these remarks while interacting with the media on Sunday at the launch of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan at the state BJP office. He said that students should remain patient, and the government will take the appropriate decision in their interest. He said that there was a time when the Patwari recruitment scam occurred. There was also a time when question papers were leaked. He did not want to go into details about who was involved, but the government took action against all of them. From the public to the media, everyone is a witness that our government has implemented the strictest anti-cheating law in the country and has put more than 100 cheating mafia members behind bars. He said that more appointments have been made in the last four years than in the 20 years since the state’s formation. More than 25,000 young people have been given government jobs so far, and their exams were conducted with complete transparency. He said that in the future, strict action will be taken against anyone involved in cheating during recruitment exams and trying to jeopardize the future of students and youth. No one involved in cheating will be spared. The guilty will go behind bars. SIT scrutinizing the test center. Referring to the graduate-level Group C recruitment exam, he said that the SIT is investigating the test center in Haridwar from where some portions of the question paper were allegedly leaked. The entire functioning of this examination center is being thoroughly investigated. The SIT is examining various aspects, including how portions of the question paper leaked and were accessed by certain individuals instead of being reported to the police, and whether similar incidents occurred elsewhere.

Calendar for 10,000 recruitments released
The Chief Minister stated that 10,000 new government jobs will be offered in the state within the next year. The recruitment calendar has been released. These recruitments will be conducted with complete transparency and fairness. He assured the students that their interests would not be compromised.

Our students are very sensible
