Uttarakhand Madrasa Board Chairman Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that every Madrasa of Uttarakhand will be associated with nationalism. Children studying in madrassas are the future of the country, they will not be allowed to be messed with. There will be no compromise regarding the verification of Madrasas, there will be no atrocities on anyone and where there is wrong, we will not leave it out. The government is doing better in the matters of love jihad and land jihad. This is also necessary for those who are doing wrong. After becoming the president, Mufti Shamoon Qasmi held a meeting with the board members and officials for the first time in the auditorium of the Madrasa Board office located in Bhagat Singh Colony on Tuesday.
Many demands were raised regarding madrassas
In this meeting, the members raised the demands of prompt payment, peer recognition, operation of NCERT curriculum and special training for modernization of madrassas. Maulana Haji Sibte Hasan demanded the release of the stalled grant. Arshad Hussain said that madrassas should be recognized. To deal with these issues, a committee will soon be formed by including experienced people to improve all the madrassas of the state.
It is better to take every class along
Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that the country cannot move forward by keeping any religion behind. The central and state governments also know this. Therefore, efforts are being made to take every section along and move it forward in a better way. The central and state governments are strictly against corruption. We must be 100 percent honest. Even Allah does not forgive wrongdoing done intentionally.
The situation is better now than before 2014
Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that earlier the officials in the Madrasa Board did not work, due to which the losses have happened in the present day. He said that after getting the responsibility of the Chairman of the Board on October 3, he visited various madrassas of the state and inspected them. If someone says that justice is not being done to us, then it is also important for them to know that the situation now is better than before 2014.
stay away from haters
Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that there is a need not to panic regarding the verification of madrassas, but to move forward and work. If a person is honest then there should be no hindrance in any work and this is also the objective of the board. He said that we all should stay away from those who spread hatred. During this, the board members expressed grief over the demise of Sharvat Karim Ansari, member of Uttarakhand Madrasa Board and former Mangalore MLA. On this occasion, Deputy Director Hira Singh Basera, Deputy Registrar Abdul Yameen, Qazi Yusuf, Furkan Ahmed, Qutubuddin Ahmed, SL Shah etc. were present.
Will visit Udham Singh Nagar soon
Regarding the issue of illegal Madrasa in Udham Singh Nagar in October, Uttarakhand Madrasa Board Chairman Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that he will also visit there soon in this matter. All Madrasa operators will be told that better work will not happen by doing wrong, but by doing right work. Yoga is not related to religion: Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that some people connect yoga with religion. They should know that Yoga has nothing to do with religion. Yoga should be done for better health. We are lucky that we are in Devbhoomi, where everything is there.
The law of conversion is correct
Uttarakhand Madrasa Board Chairman Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said that the law against forced conversion is right. Love Jihad is not related to any religion, not even Islam. Said that triple talaq is not a part of Islam, which has now become prevalent in the society. To whom Allah respects, he gives authority. Those who are in power today must have been liked by Allah, that is why they are sitting there. Qasmi said that so that madrassas can compete with schools, they should be integrated with the mainstream.
