State BJP Legislature Party meeting will be held at Himachal Bhawan Chandigarh on Thursday at 3:00 PM. In this meeting, the strategy for the presidential election will be prepared. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has asked all the party MLAs to come to Himachal Bhawan on time. In this, BJP MLAs will give their support in favor of National Democratic Alliance’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu.
It will be necessary for all BJP MLAs to be present in this meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Bhardwaj has said that all BJP MLAs have been informed in this regard.
He said that it is a matter of good fortune for the country to make a tribal woman candidate for the post of President from the National Democratic Alliance. The coalition has given preference to two classes, tribal and women together, for the presidency. It should be noted that on July 18, the Presidential election will be held and on July 21, the country will get a new President.
The upcoming strategy for the assembly elections will also be discussed
Due to the presence of all the MLAs of the state BJP in the meeting, a strategy will also be prepared for the upcoming Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.
