Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in Graphest, the silver jubilee celebration of Graphic Era Deemed University on Sunday evening. During the program, songs were performed by Neha Kakkar, a well-known Bollywood singer and winner of many awards.
Encouraging the students on the occasion of the programme, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is my wish that while working hard for their future, they achieve their best. Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that India is scaling new heights under the leadership of the Prime Minister. He said that our country has got the privilege of chairing the G-20 under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, it is a matter of pride for all of us.
The Chief Minister said that Graphic Era Deemed University, Graphic Era Hill University which has three campuses in Dehradun, Haldwani and Bhimtal, all these institutions are today known as the best centers of high technology and engineering. Today Graphic Era Deemed University completes 25 years with 30,000 students. All these institutes are known for their research, innovation and their high level of teaching and have made their mark at the national and international level. He said that the inclusion of its name in the first top 100 universities of India is itself a reflection of the fact that Graphic Era has made its own identity in the last 25 years.
Congratulating Dr. Kamal Ghanshala for these achievements, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of great pride for the state that by developing Graphic Era Medical College and Graphic Era Hospital, employment opportunities were provided to thousands of people.
