Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday reviewed the works related to disaster management and rehabilitation with senior officials of the government and all the District Magistrates through video conferencing at the Secretariat. The Chief Minister received information from all the District Magistrates about the damage caused by heavy rains in the districts and the relief and rescue operations. He directed the District Magistrate Uttarkashi to cooperate with IIT Roorkee and THDC for technical study of Varunavat landslide area and said that cognizance of the studies done earlier in this regard should also be taken so that effective arrangements for the treatment of the landslide zone are ensured. He also directed to expedite the work of treatment and expansion of the areas around Jankichatti.
