Several announcements were made by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the development of the district. In which 100 government schools of the district will be transformed. Industrial development will be done with the help of NABARD. A garden form will be made in Mundayani. Adventure Park will be constructed in Champawat, shooting range will be built in Champawat for which the District Magistrate will select the land. He announced Rs 10 lakh from his MLA fund for the library at the district headquarters. Along with this, Champawat will be constructed as a heritage city. National river rafting will be organized and developed in the area of paragliding in the district. Along with this, rafting will be organized in Purnagiri Rafting area. Seven Hills outlets will be constructed at different places on the Tanakpur to Ghat National Highway in the district. Champawat – Ek Hathiya Naula – Mayawati track route will be constructed. Rajbunga Fort will be developed from tourism point of view. Beautification of Sipti Waterfall and road construction etc. will be done. Ghat-Pancheshwar road beautification and construction work will be done.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also launched the on-line operation of the newly created Pulla Gumdesh sub-tehsil of Champawat district, from today the operation of the sub-tehsil Pulla Gumdesh has started. During this, stalls of developmental schemes run by the government were also set up by various departments, which were also inspected by the Chief Minister. And also interacted with various progressive artisans. He tasted the local fruits as well as the buttermilk of Badri cow, and appreciated the produce of the farmers.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also addressed a public meeting program at Government Girls Inter College. On this occasion, checks were distributed to eight group beneficiaries by the Chief Minister to encourage the group’s livelihood activities for group formation in the National Livelihood Mission. In the Chief Minister’s announcement under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, on completion of the housing construction work, he provided checks worth ₹ 5000 to the beneficiaries Chandrakala, Lilavati, Ramchandra Joshi, Devki Devi, Sundar Singh, Rekha Devi, Mamta Devi, Hema Devi for decoration. Apart from this, checks for the amount of first installment ₹ 6000, second installment 4000 and third installment 3000 were provided per beneficiary under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Yojana. Along with this, checks worth ₹ 17960 were distributed by the Chief Minister to the presidents of Yuvak Mangal Dal for setting up open gyms under the Health Promotion Scheme. Under the Swavalamban Yojana, a total of 626 youth and women Mangal parties were distributed to the presidents of the women’s mangal parties for the purpose of making them self-reliant, for the purpose of purchasing materials etc. and generating self-employment.
Under the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, free gas connections were distributed to Kamala Devi, Kavita Devi, Deepa Devi, Hira Devi and Chanchala Devi under the Ujjwala scheme.
In his address on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the development of the state would be started from Champawat district, which would make Uttarakhand an excellent state. It has been 100 days of dedication and effort of the government. Along with making Uttarakhand a leading state in the entire country, the Uttarakhand State Government is working to lay the foundation stone of development.
