State Congress President Karan Mahara said that the manner in which freedom of expression is being attacked today is a matter of concern. He said that in such a situation, the fourth pillar is also in danger, writers and journalists are being put in jail, it seems that an undeclared emergency has been imposed in the country. For this, a resolution has been taken to protect the Constitution. He said that Congress is getting stronger in the country due to Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. Regarding the law and order of the state, he said that when the DGP of the state is involved in some case, who should be trusted in such a situation. Everyday murders are taking place, women are being raped, terrorists are being caught by the police of Uttar Pradesh. And those who are talking about improving law and order, who are talking about getting justice to Ankita Bhandari, the DGP is talking about strict action against them. This is Gandhi’s land, if the police try to suppress the movement, the Congress will stand with them and offer flowers to the police. When the DGP is unable to do anything, he should resign, the law and order will improve by itself.
On factionalism of the Congress in the state, State President Mahara said that there is no factionalism in the Congress, but everyone is working to strengthen the Congress at their own level. The BJP government pretending to be a military base is engaged in insulting the martyred soldiers. He said that there is factionalism in the BJP, former Chief Ministers of the state Trivendra Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat themselves are accusing the state government. He said that Congress would be a cadre base party in the coming days. He said that whether the BJP government is central or state, their focus is not on development, not on unemployment, they sometimes talk about religion, sometimes Hindu-Muslim, to divert the public’s attention, but in the coming time, people will understand this and Congress Will strengthen
