After the retirement of 859 Safai Karamcharis recruited under the deceased cadre, now new Safai Karamcharis can be recruited on the vacant posts. Similarly, the relatives of the employees working on these posts will also get the benefit of jobs under the deceased dependent quota. Safai Karamcharis had demanded this from CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, a government order has been issued in this regard. Actually, a few years ago 859 Safai Karamcharis were regularized, but then these employees were recruited in the deceased cadre. Since then, Safai Karamcharis were continuously demanding service benefits like normal employees by ending this cadre. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has accepted the demands of the Safai Karamcharis. Bhagwat Prasad Makwana, Minister of State, Vice President of Safai Karamchari Commission, met the Chief Minister at the Chief Minister’s residence and expressed gratitude for issuing a government order to give jobs to the deceased dependents of 859 permanent Safai Karamcharis. Makwana said, the Chief Minister had earlier also increased the honorarium of the sanitation workers. During the Congress rule, the insurance of one lakh was stopped, which was increased to 5 lakh by the Dhami government, giving great relief to the sanitation workers. State Minister Makwana requested the regularization of Nala Gang night time sanitation workers, new recruitment of sanitation workers, skill training of employees.
