When the police top brass did not agree, late in the evening former Chief Minister Harish Rawat contacted Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on telephone. After this, Chief Minister Dhami also talked to Harish Rawat, Yashpal Arya and Karan Mahara on phone.
According to the Congressman, after the intervention of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the police has given permission to lift the helicopter. On Sunday, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will address the workers on the grounds of Bannu School located at Race Course. On the other hand, Additional Director General of Police AP Anshuman said that a call was received from Congress officials at 6.30.
At that time he was having a video conference with police officers. Shortly after the VC, some people reached the police headquarters. When the City Magistrate was talked to in this regard, he said that the letter for heli landing had come to him at 4.30. After talks, permission for helicopter landing was given. Helicopter landing is allowed in Police Lines only due to unavoidable reasons, because along with training, other activities are going on there.
