The weather in Uttarakhand remains dry and bright sunshine is shining from the mountains to the plains. There has been no rain in the state for about two months, but the mood of the weather in the state can change from December 7. Due to which light rain can occur in most areas on December 8 and 9. There are also chances of snowfall on the peaks. After which there can be a sharp drop in temperature as well as severe cold. However, after the rain, there is hope of getting relief from dry cold, which is making everyone unwell. The weather remained dry on Thursday in most areas including Dehradun. Due to which the maximum and minimum temperature remained a few degrees higher than normal. Due to bright sunshine throughout the day, a slight warmth was felt during the day. Whereas, the chill is increasing in the morning and evening. Now there is hope of the weather being kind in the next few days.

According to the Director of Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, the weather may remain dry in the state today. After this, fresh western disturbances are expected to become active in Uttarakhand and nearby Himalayan regions on Saturday. Due to which light rain may occur at some places in the state. There are also chances of snowfall on the peaks. After this, the mercury may also fall rapidly. There are chances of mercury falling by two to four degrees Celsius in the next three-four days.
Watch tower will be built in Hathidagar tourism zone for tourists
The Forest Department will open a watch tower for tourists in Hathidagar tourism zone. The Forest Department has also selected the place. In this regard, the department has also started action to build a watch tower. Terai Western Forest Division started Hathidagar tourism zone last year. But there was no arrangement for tourists to stay for a while in this zone. Now a watch tower is being built for tourists in this tourism zone at an estimated cost of ten lakh rupees.

The forest department has prepared a plan to build a two-storey watch tower. For this, a place has been selected in compartment number 43 forest area. Ampokhara Ranger Puran Singh Khanayat said that during the gypsy safari, tourists will be able to see the forest by climbing the watch tower. The watch tower will be closed from the top. Tourists will also be able to sit inside it. Currently only one tower is being installed.
