On Tuesday, Minister Ganesh Joshi participated in the tribute program organized on the fourth anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack and paid floral tributes to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Pulwama terror attack.
The minister said that on this day 40 CRPF personnel had lost their lives in a suicide terrorist attack in Pulwama. In which two soldiers from Uttarakhand were also included. The minister said that after the terrorist attack in Pulwama, India took a tough stand and took several tough steps to teach Pakistan a lesson. These steps caused a lot of damage to Pakistan.
He said that on February 26, 2019, the Indian Air Force entered Pakistan’s Balakot and destroyed terrorist hideouts through air strikes and took back the soldiers including Sood. In order to keep their memories alive in honor of the martyrs, a military base is being constructed in Uttarakhand as per the vision of the state government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Uttarakhand is the land of heroes and as a soldier, it is my determination that the military base of Uttarakhand should be developed like the Char Dhams here.
Said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is taking special interest in this project. He said that if the budget is required for the construction of the military base, it will also be fulfilled. Minister Joshi said that it is our resolve that by the end of 2023, we will complete the construction of the military base. Minister Ganesh Joshi said that the Sainik Dham is being given a grand look.
The design of the military shrine has been finalized by the government after studying various monuments in the country. Many schemes are being run by the state government for the welfare of the soldiers and their dependents. Minister Joshi said that the state government is determined for the welfare of the soldiers and their dependents.
