Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial assistance of ₹271.33 crore for development projects in the state. The Chief Minister approved ₹10.28 crore for the improvement and strengthening of the Shaheed Balwant Singh Mehra Motorway in the Nainital Assembly constituency, and ₹9.63 crore for the construction of a prestressed span bridge on the Doonikhal to Ratighat motorway in the Betalghat development block.
The Chief Minister also approved ₹5.67 crore for the improvement of the Nagarjun-Jalali motorway in the Dwarahat Assembly constituency, and ₹5.37 crore for the improvement of the Kasialek to Dhari motorway in the Bageshwar Assembly constituency under the state plan. He also approved ₹6.64 crore for the construction of a multi-level parking lot from Khetikhaan in the Champawat development block, and ₹3.04 crore for the construction of a community hall and parking lot at Sem-Top, the Nanda Devi Raj Jat stop in Chamoli.
These schemes received approval.
The Chief Minister approved ₹61 crore for 33 projects of the Minor Irrigation Department, funded by NABARD, and a total of ₹10 crore for the central and state share for Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 under the Child Development Department. He also approved ₹40 crore for the drainage plan for Joshimath town in Chamoli and ₹54 crore for the preparation of a detailed project report (DPR) for the construction of a sewerage system, domestic connections, and a STP.
The Chief Minister approved ₹3.21 crore as the first installment for flood protection work in village Bishanpur on the left bank of the Kho River in Dugadda development block of Pauri Garhwal. He also approved a ₹4.07 crore scheme for the construction of a vending zone in the Nainital Municipal Corporation. The Chief Minister approved ₹58.42 crore for the National Village Swaraj Abhiyan under the Panchayati Raj Department. to Munni Devi, wife of late Mohan Singh Rawat, resident of Kyunkaleshwar Pauri, from December 9, 2023. She will be given an amount of Rs 20,000 per month.
