The weak economic condition of meritorious students will not become a hindrance in their studies from classes VI to XII in government secondary schools in the state.
Chief Minister Meritorious Scholarship Scheme is going to be a big support for them. The government has set standards for this.
Standard fixed for Chief Minister Meritorious Scholarship Scheme:
Scholarship will be given on the basis of merit made on the basis of separate examination in class VI and VIII.
All the students who get more than 90 percent in the 10th and 12th board exams will be eligible for the scholarship.
10th passed candidates will get Rs 1500 and 12th passed candidates will get Rs 2000 monthly scholarship.
Green signal to four important schemes
Four important schemes, including the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Scholarship Scheme, were flagged off in the meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Finance Anand Baddhan at the Secretariat. After getting the approval of the finance, the way for the implementation of these schemes has become almost clear.
In the meeting, the proposal of the Education Department for the Chief Minister’s Meritorious Scholarship Scheme was approved with amendments. Scholarships will be given under this scheme from class 6th to 12th.
Keeping in mind the quality of education along with promoting competition among about 80,000 students studying in government secondary schools, preventing dropouts, the government has taken steps towards the scholarship scheme.
Scholarship will be given on the basis of block wise merit
Monthly scholarship will be Rs.600 in class VI, Rs.700 in class VII, Rs.800 in class VIII, Rs.900 in class IX and Rs.1000 in class 10th.
It was decided that there would be a scholarship test in class VI and VIII.
Block wise merit will be prepared for this examination.
On the basis of this merit, 10 percent meritorious will be selected and given scholarship.
It has been decided to give scholarship to all the students who get more than 90 percent marks in the 10th and 12th board exams.
Now, according to this revised decision, the education department will prepare a proposal for the scholarship scheme.
Outsourced recruitment will be done on 4450 posts:
In other important decisions, an agreement was reached on opening of employment opportunities in the education department in the state. In government schools, 3500 vacant posts of Class IV and 950 posts of Block Resource Person (BRC) and Cluster Resource Person (CRC) will be filled through outsource.
The recruitment on these total 4450 posts will be completed within a month. There are 3500 vacant posts of Class IV employees in government schools in the state from the time the classes start to the end, from ringing the bell to other essential tasks. These posts will be filled outsourced.
Outsourcing will fill the posts of BRP-CRP:
Along with this, 950 posts of BRP and CRP will be appointed for the quality of education in government primary and upper primary schools and for the implementation of central schemes run under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
Taking a decision to outsource these, new employment opportunities have been opened. Director General of Education Banshidhar Tiwari, who participated in the meeting, said that the agency will be selected soon for outsourced recruitment, so that recruitment can be done within a month.
1500 cluster schools will have all the facilities:
He informed that the establishment of 1500 cluster schools was also approved in the meeting. Under this scheme, cluster schools will be established in the state by linking government primary, upper primary, high school and intermediate schools together. It was decided to provide all necessary facilities for quality education in these schools.
