The BJP government started the Saugat-e-Modi kit across the country. A program was organized at Baba Bhure Shah entrance gate in village panchayat Kulhal of Sahaspur assembly constituency and Saugat-e-Modi kit was distributed to 150 Muslim women and men. The women of the Muslim community present in the program raised slogans and said that there is no distance, there is no food, Modi is our brother. During this, BJP leader Khalid Mansuri said that this is the first government in the country, which has equal thinking for people of every caste and every religion under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that on this occasion of Eid, this is the first BJP government, which has done the work of giving Eidi in the form of Saugat-e-Modi kit to the poor section of the Muslim community. During this, BJP leader Mansuri repeated the slogan and all the women repeated the slogan. Minority Front District President Sarfaraz Jafri kept the achievements of the Modi government among the people. He said that no government has organized such programs for Muslims before today. For the first time it is being seen that the Modi government is also working in the interest of Muslims. Tahir Hussain, Shivalik Rural Division President Ravi Kashyap, Dr. Ramesh Saini, former District President of Minority Front Mohammad Arif, Baba Bhure Shah Committee President Nazir Hussain, former soldier Mohammad Salim, Noor Nisha etc. were present in the program.
Governor and Chief Minister extended greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr
Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami have extended greetings to the people of the state, especially the Muslim community, on Eid-ul-Fitr. The Governor and the Chief Minister said in their separate messages that Eid-ul-Fitr is a symbol of love, brotherhood and mutual harmony, which strengthens unity and harmony in the society. He said that the festivals celebrated by different religions and communities in our country not only provide us with an opportunity to unite and share each other’s happiness, but also strengthen the feeling of mutual trust and cooperation in the society.
