Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Uniform Civil Code will soon be implemented in Uttarakhand. For this, action will be taken forward in the Assembly. He said this in his address on the first day of the three-day Shashtipurti Mahotsav organized on the completion of 60 years of Sadhvi Ritambhara’s age at Vatsalya Gram in Vrindavan. He said that UCC is a common code of personal laws for people of all religions.
CM Dhami took a dig at the opposition
Taking a dig at the opposition parties, CM Dhami said that Ram temple can be constructed in Ayodhya only under the BJP government. Ram cannot build a temple where people open fire on devotees. Without taking the name of any political party, he said that the abolition of Article 370 and the law of triple talaq in Kashmir could have come only under the BJP government. This happiness could not be found in the government of any other political party. Chief Minister Dhami said that the commitment to build the temple at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will be fulfilled on January 22 when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the consecration ceremony.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister congratulated Sadhvi Ritambhara
Uttarakhand CM congratulated Sadhvi Ritambhara on Shashtipurti Mahotsav. He described Sadhvi Ritambhara as an epitome of “vatsalya” (affection) and motherhood, wished her long life and sought blessings from the saints present in the programme. CM Dhami said that he raised the flame of awareness in the Ram Mandir movement with his powerful speeches, today the result of that is that a divine and grand temple is being built. Every child of the country is engrossed in the praise of Ram. Join him in his true worship with Ram Stuti, adopt his ideals in your life. There is nothing greater than love to possess Ram in oneself.
CM Dhami praised the Prime Minister
Without taking the name of any leader, CM Dhami said that now after seeing the construction of the grand Ram temple, people have started thinking that they also want to come to Ayodhya. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done all this. He never stopped nor bowed down, the result of this is that this work is being accomplished. Taking inspiration from Prime Minister Modi, we have done the work of increasing even the difficult tasks into Devbhoomi. We will also move forward on Uniform Civil Code. Along with stopping religious conversion and copying, strict laws should also be made for land and love jihad. He said that when we tell that we are from Uttarakhand, the way others think about us is different. To ensure that the original form of Devbhoomi remains intact, it has been resolved to remove encroachments.
Stay in Mathura for two days
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami worshiped Giriraj ji at Danghati temple of Govardhan on the second morning of his two-day stay in Mathura. Here the anointment was done with milk-panchamrit and rose water. Sevayat Deepu Purohit and Banke Purohit conducted the puja amidst chanting of mantras. Temple servant Mahesh covered the Prasad scarf and Vishnu presented the Prasad. After this he reached Prem Sansthan, where he participated in a religious program. After this he worshiped at Baglamukhi temple in Mathura.
