For the preservation and promotion of Devvani Sanskrit in the state, the government has decided to develop 13 Adarsh Sanskrit villages. Which was formally launched by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on August 10 (Sunday) from Sanskrit Gram Bhogpur (Dehradun). Adarsh Sanskrit Grams of all the districts joined the program through virtual medium.
Expressing grief over the disaster in Uttarkashi and Pauri, the Chief Minister said that the state government will carry out rehabilitation work in the disaster affected areas with full sensitivity and speed. He said that the state government is working to make Devvani Sanskrit reach the people by establishing Adarsh Sanskrit Gram in every district of Uttarakhand. Devbhoomi Uttarakhand has been the center of study and research of Devvani Sanskrit for centuries. It is the effort of the state government to keep the sacred flame of Devvani Sanskrit lit in Uttarakhand.
