The voting process for 100 municipal bodies in Uttarakhand was completed on January 23. Voting started at 8 am and continued till 5 pm. However, voting continued till 8 pm at some places. After this, the fate of 5405 candidates was sealed in the ballot boxes. After the voting was over, the polling parties deposited the ballot boxes in the strong room. Now the counting of votes in the municipal elections will take place on January 25.
