
After inaugurating the National Games, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can come to Uttarakhand again in February. A program for his stay in Uttarkashi is being prepared to give the message of his winter visit in February. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had requested the PM to come on a winter visit during his stay in Delhi.
It was believed that when the PM comes to Uttarakhand to inaugurate the National Games, he will go on a winter visit during this time. But according to official sources, the Prime Minister will come later for the winter visit. He will come to Dehradun on January 28 and during this time he will return to New Delhi after inaugurating the National Games and laying the foundation stone of some schemes related to infrastructure.
The state government is trying to raise issues related to the development of the state during this visit of the PM. However, the state government has not yet received the complete program from the Prime Minister’s Office. There are indications that the Prime Minister may stay in Uttarkashi in February to give the message of winter visit. There are strong possibilities of him visiting Mukhaba, the winter residence of Gangotri. During that time, the Prime Minister can also interact with the local people of border villages, youth and soldiers deployed on the border. Let us tell you that due to the personal efforts of the Prime Minister, reconstruction work is going on in Badrinath and Kedarnath under the master plan. The Chief Minister has requested the Prime Minister to get the infrastructure work done in Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham on the same lines with central assistance.
